I’m truly shocked at how well this turned out. I’d heard about it for years, but I couldn’t believe it would be this creamy and delicious!
I can think of many different add ins to make this even better! I would add it at the end after you reach the desired consistency.
I can imagine swirling peanut butter in this, coconut, caramel, berries, nuts. This is a game changer for me.

Ingredients
- Bunch of Bananas, ripened
Instructions
- Peel and slice ripe bananas
- Lay then out on a parchment lined baking sheet
- Freeze overnight
- Transfer to a freezer safe container
- When you're ready for the ice cream, put the slices into a food processor
- Pulse until the banana is broken down in pieces
- Switch to blend and blend until creamy
Notes
You can eat this right out of the food processor, it's like a soft serve. Alternately, put in a freezer safe, sealed container and leave it in the freezer.
